CNA Training Indiana

Any individual, who has a passion for nursing care and want to serve humankind by offering routine nursing care to suffering patients in Illinois, must complete CNA Training Indiana and earn Certification, which can allow him/her to work legally in various health care facilities throughout this state.

You must also remember that the training program makes you proficient in providing everyday needs of the patients, such as changing of linen and bed making, counting and measure of vital signs, administering of glucose, injection, water, medication, washing, feeding and grooming of the patient, their movements and so on.

CNA Training Indiana

CNA Training Indiana must be state and federal OBRA-87 approved and have a duration of minimum 105hours (OBRA requirement 75 hours), which include 30 hours of classroom learning and 75 hours of clinical hands -on, supervised training.

The clinical training offers the student a chance to work with the actual patients, which is prevented during classroom learning.

In the supervised, clinical training, students work with actual patients in long-term care facilities in the presence of a registered nurse educator. This allows students to practice those skills learned in the classroom.

There are over 100 CNA Indiana certification programs that are approved by Indiana State Department of Health and these programs are offered at various nursing schools, community and vocational institutes, trade schools, technical institutes and long term care facilities.
