As per OBRA-87 requirements, all states must provide minimum 75 hours of training to individuals, who are willing to enter health care field by working in hospitals, nursing homes, long term care units and other health care settings. The state of MA offered CNA Courses Massachusetts passes the mandates of OBRA and provides programs of 105 hours. MA CNA program consist of 75 hours classroom course instruction and 25 hours clinical training.
It is the responsibility of Massachusetts Board of Nursing to oversee all CNA programs offered by different schools and colleges all over the state. The board also sees that all programs offered by these schools follow the mandates as prescribed by the OBRA.
The basic curriculum of CNA Courses Massachusetts includes instructions and training on following skills:
